A community for creatives comes to life...

Five years ago, I wrote an ebook with that name for my writing students as part of a course in Professional Writing and Communications graduate certificate that I helped to develop at Humber College in Toronto. The book now lives as a work-in-progress at FeistyFreelancer.com.

Now I’m also launching the Feisty Freelancer Summer School, an 8-week course to help those who are curious about freelance writing to take action, answer their burning questions and move forward with a writing assignment.

I’ve also created this newsletter to share some of the the lessons I’ve learned from building a business, trying new things, making mistakes, picking new directions and generally enjoying the work from home lifestyle that’s afforded me opportunities to choose my own projects, set my own schedule, do great work for clients who are a good fit and dump those that are bad, and travel. I’m hoping to connect with others to share their stories too.
